About the album

The idea to create the album «Muse of Heaven» arose during a conversation at the family table, with my brother and friends of our family, over a glass of Scotch whiskey. It was a conversation, so to speak, in a family circle. One day the conversation about music came back, and then I was asked what I could do as a musician not in academic music, can I play jazz or rock? I haven’t performed jazz or rock before. Time passed, and I forgot about this conversation. However, later, while traveling in a car, I remembered her, and as I remember now, I listened to the band «Scorpions». At that moment, I caught myself thinking that you could create an album that would combine classical music and rock.

Since childhood, I enjoyed listening to cool rock. As a result, I chose 11 songs and decided to do them for solo violin, chamber string orchestra and rock band. The goal I pursued was to combine different eras and styles, and to show that in decades, and even centuries, there can be a harmony of styles. Also, I wanted to join the album exclusively of our Ukrainian musicians and once again show the world that we can make extraordinary and quality music. And another goal of mine is to record well-known compositions of classical music, so that in every corner of our planet people, recognizing them, can once again touch the beautiful, and listening to them at home, in the car, or in a cafe for coffee, and also on concerts, have fun.
