Alex Rux
I was born in Lutsk, Ukraine, where I started playing the violin at the age of five. I studied with my father Vitaly Stytsyuk. Honestly, as a child I did not like the violin, or rather I did not like to play it, because the sounds that fly out of the violin when you just start learning to play it, not everyone can stand. It was more interesting for me to walk with friends in the yard. There was even a time when my father came home from work and asked if I played the violin, and I said: «yes». And then he asked: «Where is the violin»? But I didn’t know what to say. That’s how I «loved» the violin as a child

About the album
11 compositions for solo violin, chamber string orchestra and rock band. My goal is to combine different eras and different styles and show that in decades and even centuries there can be a harmony of styles. I wanted to join the album exclusively of our Ukrainian musicians and once again show the world that we can make extraordinary and quality music
history
Creating an album
The idea to create the album «Muse of Heaven» arose during a conversation at the family table, with my brother and friends of our family, over a glass of Scotch whiskey. It was a conversation, so to speak, in a family circle. One day the conversation about music came back, and then I was asked what I could do as a musician not in academic music, can I play jazz or rock? I haven’t performed jazz or rock before. Time passed, and I forgot about this conversation. However, later, while traveling in a car, I remembered her, and as I remember now, I listened to the band «Scorpions»
